Détails de l’offre:

myAgro is undergoing an exciting period of growth as we seek to double our reach every year. Working at myAgro provides tremendous opportunity to help develop cutting-edge pilots and programs, to grow quickly as a leader, and to shape the long-term success of this enterprise. We pride ourselves on innovation and creating scalable solutions that are appropriate for our farmers, their families and communities. Our rapidly growing team currently includes 20+ expatriate staff based across West Africa and the US, along with over 200 local hire staff.
We’re looking for entrepreneurial and committed individuals with a track record of exceptional impact. Successful applicants will display the following characteristics:
1. Passion for our mission
Why? Living in West Africa certainly has its challenges. However, for individuals who are passionate about supporting smallholder farmers and how our layaway savings model can change the face of subsistence farming, living here can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. Commitment to myAgro’s purpose will help get you through frustrations like the heat, power outages, and transportation problems.
2. Humility and ability to learn from failure
Why? We actively listen to feedback from farmers and make adjustments. We have the courage to review, reshape and reimagine what could be and we move forward with a mix of humility and excitement. We’re humble enough to admit that we made mistakes and have the humility to start from scratch when needed.
3. Flexibility and team-oriented resourcefulness
Why? We have made strides as an organization but we are still very young which means we come together as a team when the team needs it. If someone is out or if we are short staffed, we need leaders who will step in to help fill in the gaps and lead the rest of the team to do the same. We need team members who can not only roll with the punches, but do so with grace.
4. Decisiveness and curiosity
Why? This role is critical to our success if we are going to help 1 million farmers increase their income a $1.50 a day by 2025. Displaying your ability to get things done, in the most trying of circumstances with limited resources, will challenge and grow you – for all of the right reasons. We never stop wondering at myAgro, we do not have time to be stagnant.

About myAgro
myAgro is an award-winning social enterprise working in Mali and Senegal, West Africa. Our North Star is to reach 1 million small-scale farmers and increase their income by $1.50 per day to move out of poverty. We’re doing that by using an innovative mobile-layaway platform that helps farmers save up for fertilizer, seed and training to increase the amount of money they earn from their farm.
Small-scale farmers across the globe make up 70% of the world’s poor. Our model increases farm income, reduces food insecurity, and helps farmers move out of poverty. We’ve grown from 240 farmers to over 15,000 in the last 4 years and have plans to rapidly scale in the coming years.
We are proud to have received recognition for our work from Echoing Green, Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, One Acre Fund, Mulago Foundation, The Salesforce Foundation and The Tech Museum, among others.
At myAgro, we don’t offer your average 9-5 job. We are a fast-paced, start up social enterprise looking for determined, creative problem-solvers who want to make a true difference. We take immense pride in our work, and we believe in our mission. Hear our founder talk about our innovative model or learn more about what it takes to be great fit.
