Dorothy Nicol Scholarship 2017 For Master’s at University of Stirling Management School

University of Stirling invites applications from eligible candidates from sub-saharan Africa for the 2017 Dorothy Nicol Scholarship. The Dorothy Nicol Scholarship was established in 2012 by Professor Douglas Brodie in memory of his mother. He and his partner, Lilian Haire, are supporters of the Aspire to Africa Foundation.

This Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the strength of the personal statement.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be from Sub-Saharan Africa and hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) of a place on any of the full-time Masters programmes offered by the Management School for entry in September 2017.
  • Applicants applying for the MBA must also have at least three years work experience.

Award

The Dorothy Nicol Scholarship is generously funded to offer £14,600 towards overseas tuition fees.

  • Write a statement of 500 words on why a scholarship would help you, and what your career or educational aims are for the five year period after you graduate from the course.
