Call for Participation: 9th African Union Gender Pre-Summit Twitter Live Chat #All4Gender
The African Union Commission’s Women, Gender and Development Directorate in collaboration with the Department for Human Resource, Science and Technology and the Department of Social Affairs and in partnership with Civil Society and United Nations Partners is convening the 9th African Union Gender Pre-Summit from 22 to 27 January 2017 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, at the margins of the 28th African Union Summit.
About the #All4Gender Live Twitter Chat:
On Wednesday, January 18th, a group of Twitter users will e-meet to discuss the topic of Gender equality using a designated hashtag (#All4Gender) for each tweet contributed. A number of questions will be asked to prompt responses from participants.
It is an opportunity to raise awareness about the situation in our respective countries and what can be done to make it better.
The #All4Gender online campaign’s goal is to rally youth from all around the World in order to capture a diverse audience who’s given an equal voice in the discussion. It is about breaking down barriers to ensure that we, the youth, are working online and offline for the benefit of our generation and so many generations to come.
